Outstanding! Most Affordable Show in Chicagoland! The Best Outdoor Show Around! This is what is being said about the Tinley Park Fishing and Outdoor Show. Every winter everyone who enjoys the outdoors loves to attend the outdoor shows. Call it shaking off the ole’ cabin fever if you will. But one outdoor show that’s grown to be the favorite of outdoorsmen and women of all ages is the Tinley Park Fishing and Outdoors Show. “We make the show affordable for the whole family to attend.” says Show Manager Rich Komar. “With economic times being what they are today; we don’t need to have our show visitors running out of money before they get into the show.” This is an affordable show where Mom, Dad, and the kids can get in the door and still take advantage of the sale prices of fishing tackle and so many other items on display at the show. Admission to the show is $5.00 for adults, $4.00 for seniors, and $3.00 for kids 7 to 13. Little anglers age 6 and under still get into the show for free. Held at the Exhibitors from several states come to this show to sell just about everything made for fishing and outdoor fun. There are many vacation resorts represented from As all outdoor shows offer, there will be fishing seminars and demonstrations. This year anglers can sit in on seminars for catfish, muskie, and a variety of species of fish on the Fox Chain of Lakes. On the demo stage you’ll see demonstrations on dog obedience, reptiles and birds of prey. As usual there will be a raffle where you can win a boat, motor and trailer or one of many other great prizes. The Tinley Park High School Booster Club puts together what is now known as one of the largest outdoor shows in the greater Chicagoland area. The Tinley Park Fishing and Outdoor Show supports all of the student athletes at the Also adding to the show’s success is the support that it gets from sponsors like the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 134, Cubby Lures, Basa’s Marine, Bass Pro Shops, Cardinal Fitness, the Stoney Point Grill and others. The hard work and dedication from the parents and the students is what pulls this show together. Their selfless efforts bring exhibitors and visitors back for year after year. On Saturday and Sunday, February 13 & 14, 2010, the 17th Annual Tinley Park Fishing and Outdoor Show will open its doors to literally thousands of show visitors.
